Celebrating the Love of God
I want to share with you today a word that has really blessed me. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,” (New King James Version). Although a common scripture, it is new everyday.
The original word “loved” used in the preceding text is “Agapao,” meaning unconditional love of God, when He had no reason to love us, He loved us anyway! I am overwhelmed by this love of God that culminated at Calvary. Calvary is prove that God loves you and me. How He loved us! We should recognize daily by faith that God has proven His love to us by sending His Son to die in our place.
In Jesus now, everything we will ever need has been provided for; our past, our present, and our future needs have been taken care of through the representative work of Jesus Christ. Now in Jesus we are quickened, raised, seated with Him in the heavenlies, and anointed with the Holy Spirit. Beloved, I want to encourage you today, no trouble can hold you down, you are anointed, you are too slippery for the devil and his cohorts to hold you down, Jesus death and resurrection destroyed every legal claim that the devil had over you, it is your time now.
